Nepal Nepal Nepal in 2011

What a year it’s been for Trek Climb Ski. Our Nepal operations have well and truly stepped up a notch and 2010 has seen us operate 12 successful expeditions in the Everest and Annapurna regions. Our Aspen 2011 tours are full and ready to go and the early snow conditions in Colorado are as good as it gets. Our YouTube channel continues to generate heaps of interest and some of our BLOG posts have attracted over 40,000 views.

We have some great adventures on track for 2011 and in March we’ll lead Amanda and the Remission Possible team to Everest Base Camp and Island Peak . We’re excited to have the 7pm Project following her progress. Our charity work in Nepal is continuing to grow and a huge thanks to those people that are helping us with this – you know who you are! Somehow we found the time to refresh our newsletter and I hope you enjoy reading our Christmas 2010 edition. To all our guests, staff & friends I thank you all for your great support over the past 12 months and wish you a fantastic Christmas and New Year ... we're all set for an incredible 2011!

In March next year, Trek Climb Ski have the privilege of leading Amanda Ghirardello and the Remission Possible team to Everest Base Camp and then onto climb nearby Island Peak.  None of these guys have even trekked before let alone climbed anything ... let alone climbed anything big!  Why are we involved? Trek Climb Ski: YouTube Channel

Our mission, and yes we've chosen to accept it, is to provide the most comprehensive video library available showcasing all the trips we run and the stuff we do. As far as we can tell, nobody else is really doing this, and given the time it takes to film, edit and upload all the video we think we know why. But we know if you can watch what we do, you'll like what we do and then maybe you'll even want to do what we do? With us! So our commitment from now is lots of video from all our trips. Check out our YouTube channel here ... it's not exactly what you'd expect but it's raw and real ... and we know you'll like.

Trek Climb Ski: Video of the Month

It's perhaps not surprising that we're going to award this to Mark Stennett and the gang at Drift Photography Tours. Mark led our inaugural Everest Base Camp Photography Expedition in November and most of the photos they came back with were just stunning. Video of the month is not strictly a video, but a great collection of images compiled by Mark with a soundtrack added. If this doesn't make you want to visit Nepal and trek on up to Everest Base Camp then best you stick to beach holidays. Click here to view.
